PACKING

Wow, I have 2 days left here in the US, I will be gone for a month. It is hard to pack for a place you have never been. It is hard to make sure you stay under the 50 lb limit and make sure you have all you need. I hope I don't miss something. There are so many things to take care of.

I have a lot to do to make sure I am ready to travel for God also. My "bags" need to be carefully packed for the spiritual part of the trip. Here is were I am really afraid I will leave something out. I have to have the whole armor of God. In need the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, boots that are prepared with the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, and the helmet of salvation. Most of all I need the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. I also need prayers of others to support this trip and ministry so that God's will is done. I am more afraid of Failing God than anything. He is the one that is to receive the honor and the glory for all that is done on this trip. I wish to be a faithful servant of His.

Lord, Help me to remember to pack all the things I need to make this trip and my life a living sacrifice to you, that will honor and please you.

The Quote:
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints. ~Ephesians 6:10-18

  1. Vanessa, you will not fail God! He has a heart so full of love for you. Our expectations and our efforts are not even on God's radar. It's our hearts He wants, and He already has yours, so it's all good! Go where the journey leads and God is already there to meet you because He's in your heart.
sending Love and prayers with you on your travels.
    peace-n-luv,
    Sue O
