We can love the sounds a new born baby makes, but not love the screaming of a toddler who does not get its way. We can love the beauty of a flash of lightening across a stormy sky and not love the storm. We can love the sight of a mountain in the distance (physically and figuratively) yet not love the trek we have to take to get to the top. Everything on earth that God has created can be loved, and has value. Even the "bad" things we think are unlovable like storms, or the screams of a child. I believe that the only thing that cannot be loved is Sin. Like I said if God created it it is lovely. God did not create Sin, we did with the help of Satan. One way to keep ourselves from sin is to think on the things in Philippians 4:8; on lovely things.
