When Jesus came to this earth as a tiny baby He was all God and all man. He was sinless because He was God. I believe though that since he came as man, he had all the capacity of man so He could show us that perfection was a reachable goal. If He was fully man that means, I believe He could have sinned. When He was in the wilderness and Satan came to tempt Him, He was able to withstand those temptation because He was perfect. He was tempted just as we are and He showed us by example that temptations can be battled and overcome. I believe that the "temptations" didn't stop there. Jesus was a man, and He was God, He met every thing put in front of Him the same way we should. Does that mean we won't sin? No, it does mean that we need to look at Jesus' life as a guide to dealing with sin. Try to mimic His life. God will not allow us to have anything in our lives that we can not overcoming. He might let us bend but He won't let us break. He has given us all we need to be perfect, to have power over sin. I pray that I can begin to overcome the sin in my life and have a life that is pleasing to God.
